Before being plagued by the current bout of Islamic terrorists. The UK was under the threat of Catholic terrorists. This was because of the centuries of brutal suppression of the Catholic Christians by the Protestant Christians. That endless war between Christians both in Britain and on the continent lead the founders of this country to make it a secular country. Thank god for secularists and atheists.
