No better messenger:

Story:
Gingrich Says Nation Becoming Godless

Newt Gingrich "warned that America is headed toward becoming a godless society unless voters take a stand against President Obama and liberal-minded college professors and likeminded media pushing his agenda," the San Antonio News-Express reports.

He also "called for a return to historic, Christian roots he said were critical to protecting the nation's freedoms."

Said Gingrich: "There's a desperation with which our elites are trying to create amnesia so that we literally have generations who have no idea what it means to be an American."
This is the man you want out there beating the drum for Christianity, and against "liberal-minded college professors".

More please.

Yeah, because in the uncut version of the Sermon on the Mount Jesus said, “Blessed is the man whose serveth divorce papers upon his cancer-stricken wife in the hospital.” But the book of Matthew was running long, so that part was edited out, along with “Blessed is he who impeacheth the president for lying about an adulterous affair while he committeth adultery himself.”

How can he do this with a straight face? Can any human being be so completely and utterly lacking in shame and decency? How can anyone even contemplate this guy as a leader?

Horn-dog Newt so suffers from amnesia that he forgets what he said just a week earlier, to wit: on Libya. (Oh well, the memory is the second thing to go.)

On the fidelity front, Horn-dog Newt may be faithful to #3 (a) for fear of the "three-strike" rule or (b) age has kept the eye of Newt from wandering or (c) patriotism no longer serves Newt as an aphrodisiac. Query: Can an old Horn-dog be taught new tricks?

From the same speech I believe: "I have two grandchildren — Maggie is 11, Robert is 9," Gingrich said at Cornerstone Church here. "I am convinced that if we do not decisively win the struggle over the nature of America, by the time they're my age they will be in a secular atheist country, potentially one dominated by radical Islamists and with no understanding of what it once meant to be an American."

What a gasbag. This coming from a man who prefers blowjobs because he doesn't have to lie when someone confronts his with his infidelity. Looking forward to the debates though.
