Glenn Beck is the Second Coming of MKL and Gandhi. Sarah Palin is the Second Coming of Dietrich Bonhoeffer and the personification of the 6 million killed in the concentration camps.
The idea is to appropriate all history to themselves, for their own uses.
I saw one video in which an actor playing Tom Paine was calling for national ID cards in order to stop illegal immigration. Yep, ole Tom woulda been down with that.
