What I have never gotten straight is why it is so bad to pay the same rates we paid under Clinton's two terms of office...It was so important to bring in less money for Social Security? It was so important to give the people with the most money another tax break? It was so important...well, what else is necessary to say here?
Other than Obama is a Trojan Horse alright. He's a Trojan Horse for Banksters, the Wealthiest Few and Corporate America. And yet, these interests are still not satisfied. Sigh.
Clinton's two terms were subsidized by the overpaying of Social Security into the "trust fund", and by the rising Y2K tech bubble. By contrast, we are now entering a socialist economic depression. The situations are not comparable.
You are right about Obama, but you miss the bigger point. Obama is a Chicago politician, which means he sniffs out and aligns himself with power. In 2006-2008, the power was with the Democrats. From 2008-2010, the power was with the bankers. In 2011 and 2012, the power will be with the Republicans, so you can expect him to work nicely with them, and pretty much stiff the powerless Democrats.
You could always impeach him.
