Sexuality of Supreme Court justices:

There's been some whispering about who is what and I think it's time to set the record "straight" on this issue. Should the court have a gay justice? To answer this burning question, we need look no further than the village people.

The Village People consisted of a:
  • police officer
  • Native American
  • cowboy
  • biker
  • construction worker
  • GI
True, there was an admiral and sailor for "In the Navy" (more on that below), but never a justice in robes.

They sang a song, Y.M.C.A., but never S.C.O.T.U.S.

They also had a hit with "In the Navy", but they never sang "On the Bench" (although maybe they wanted to be).

These facts speak for themselves. I consider this matter closed.

But SC(R)OTUS* members all dress alike in black robes whereas the Village People are individually distinct in dress.

Can you imagine SC(R)OTUS* singing "A.C.L.U." in similar fashion to the Village Peoples' "Y.M.C.A" up in arms in their robes? (I can imagine Roberts, Alito, Scalia, Thomas and Kennedy up in Second Amendment arms.)

No, but I can imagine Roberts, Alito, Scalia, Thomas and Kennedy breaking away from SC(R)OTUS and cutting their own single: "A.C.L.J."*

The B-side would be a cover of the Beatles' "Happiness is a Warm Gun."

They'd call themselves "The Supremes," but, well, you know...

*American Center for Law & Justice, Pat Robertson's wingnut alternative to the ACLU.

Screamin' Demon:

Making a "J" with the arms is tougher than a "U".

As for the B-side, what might these males be carrying, concealed, under their robes? (What was Mae West's line when she was being hugged?)
