, he denies that a person driven to suicide has made an objective and rational choice. So he ends up concluding that it's illogical, deluded, self-centered, impulsive, and all manner of wrong.
I think you may be misreading him. As I read it it, it's a call to greater understanding of those walking down that path, and I don't read any judgement upon the those walkers, other than that they may need help and a caring hand. Not such a bad thing.
