There is almost nothing the Obama administration does regarding terrorism that makes me feel safer. Whether it is guaranteeing captured terrorists that they will not be waterboarded [or] reciting terrorists their rights ...

The Washington Post's liberal Richard Cohen.

Small point: these people, as guilty as they may seem to be, must be treated as suspects until a judgment is rendered.

That better have been snark, 'cause Cohen, he ain't no liberal.

What is it with sniveling cowards like him, anyway? Instead of sending a message to the terrorists of the world that America doesn't fear them, columnists like Cohen are eager to use their precious op-ed real estate to announce to Al Qaeda more than eight years after 9/11 that, hey, don't worry, you're still winning the war.

On the other hand, I don't know why it surprises me. Cohen and others like him are just doing Dick Cheney's bidding.
