Yemen:

It's 25% larger than California.

Always looks kinda small when shown on the map, probably because it's dwarfed by Saudi Arabia. And it's near the equator (at about 15º) which in a Mercator projection, reduces its apparent size.

Exploding population, vanishing oil, vanishing gov't revenue, vanishing water(!).

Lotta people are gonna die in that country in the coming decades.

Saudis better do something fast.
