Oliphant does Giles:

Current cartoon (dated 4 Jan 2010), featuring a member of the family.

Oddly, no acknowledgment (e.g. "Apologies to ...).

Nothing odd about it. Oliphant probably believes few people are acquainted with the Giles family, so why bother with an acknowledgment? This is the WaPo we're talking about here. They can't be bothered with silly things like facts and attribution.

Oliphant's work is syndicated. My bad. The rest of my comment stands, however. Facts and attribution are so passe these days.

DPT: Agreed. Still, it was a good cartoon, in the spirit of Giles (i.e. Grandma scaring the hell out of everybody for daring to inquire about her undies).
