Wow. He is insane. And it does help us understand the Maureen Dowd worldview. It is a world view where the only way they express any populist understanding is through their Fascist impulses. Otherwise, there is an elitism and proud ignorance of public policy that is beyond galling. Does Kevin Dowd actually read any articles in a newspaper beyond headlines?

I definitely don't want to spend Christmas or New Year's with the Dowd family...

Has anyone ever seen Maureen and Kevin together? Are they a variation on Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde? One's Dowd-y and the other's Rowd-y. Or is it just sibling "crass-dressing-down"? Probably each gave the other a lump of coal for XMas, in which case I'm for "cap" but not "trade."

I like Al Franken. We are now going to hear how he broke 250 years of Senate rules for the rest of our lives. Even with tape of McCain refusing 30 more seconds to a Democratic Senator speechifying on the potential problems of an Iraq war.

Because Franken is a clown and unserious and a liberal etc.
