Does it matter that Palin resigned from office? Not according to David Gregory: It's extraordinary ... I mean, she's extraordinary ... I mean, all this year, it's as if [Palin's] like a senator or something. I mean, she issues statements and posts things on Facebook as if she's an incumbent or if she's a candidate for something.

It's like my mother used to say:
"Small things amaze small minds."
I think Sarah Palin would be an excellent replacement for Michael Steele as the Republican National Committee chairman. When she left office, my suspicion was that she would challenge Steele for his post. She obviously hasn't done that, but if she were to do so I wouldn't expect it until the 2010 election comes closer.
A successful GOP campaign in 2010 with Palin at the helm would be a near-ideal setup for a 2012 presidential run.
see the lapdog drool.
