Taking a break:

In light of the fact that two million people showed up at the 9/12 rally, the largest event ever held in Washington, D.C., it's hard to be enthusiastic for mere blogging.

Maybe it's time to take a break.

I think it's precisely why you should stay. Don't let the bastards grind you down.

Maybe you should take a trip to Europe. Go to Warsaw, get lost in the crowd for a while.

Take heart, apparently the photo is fake...

Is that a Solidarity rally? The picture is a little pixelated. Warsaw does have charm...

Anon: No, it was when John Paul II went to Poland in 1979 after he became Pope. I believe it was the largest outdoor rally (although maybe more showed up for Mao in China). 2 million or so.

I believe the Solidarity Rally was a different event, am not sure.
