Today is clean-your-keyboard day:

So do it. Get some Q-tips (TM) and some lighter fluid and carefully clean the tops of the keys and the channels between the rows. You'll be surprised at how dirty they are.

Then show the results to your friends. They'll be impressed!

Be bold - clean your keyboard in the dishwasher!

Anon: Well, obviously you wait for the fluid to evaporate. But lighter fluid is better in my opinion than other water-based cleaners, if handled properly. You don't want water near electronics.

JeffKw: I dunno. That's pretty radical and I know that some boards wouldn't make it. The glue that is used to affix the keycaps to the rest of the device would probably loosen in such a hot environment.
