Strange times:I find myself in the odd position of supporting those paleo-conservative Republicans who are opposed to the Paulson Plan, and hope that they succeed in stopping it (by filibuster or other means).

I agree that I hope they stop it, at least in its current form, but if they're in favor of US intervention abroad when there's no fundamental national interest at stake, they're not paleoconservatives, AFAICT.
