Palin claims to be on a par with Jesus?The parallels: From the NYTimes:[Palin] suggested her work as governor would be hampered “if the people of Alaska’s heart isn’t right with God.” From The Gospel of Mark 6:1, 5, 6:Jesus left that place and went back to his hometown, followed by his disciples.
He was not able to perform any miracles there, except that he placed his hands on a few sick people and healed them. He was greatly surprised, because the people did not have faith.

I find this extremely disturbing. It's frightening that we're this close to having her elected as VP. It's even more frightening to know that she'll certainly run in 2012 for president, regardless of whether McCain is elected this year or not.
