Have we reached critical mass?

I get the feeling that some sort of revolt is about to happen.

Wake me when the revolution starts.

I hope so. Please discuss the fact that the 9/11 Commission did not do its job. This video shows exactly what I am talking about: 9/11 and Wrong Policy, what the 9/11 Commission Report did to us.

I get whiffs of this (if I understand what you're talking about), but relying on the media to be serious is like waiting for "moderate Republicans" to do the right thing. It is always hoped for and virtually never happens.

Rome is burning--look at the news any given day. McCain hands out rosin and bows and the fiddlers go at it for two months--that's what I expect to happen. Obama still may win but the noise machine is pretty powerful and it's the easiest thing for the lazy media to suck up to.

My one hope is all those newspeople who let McCain slide on god-knows-what and have some nice audio or video may finally find reason to plop those in McCain's face.

I watched NBC Nightly News tonight and the lead story was about Obama's lipstick comment. But rather than play into the Republican's narrative, it was covered for what it was: artificial outrage from the McCain campaign. I was surprised, the story was so fair.

The "revolution" should consist of:
* Democrats---across the board (locally, in the Federal Congress, etc)---not taking any more crap from the Rethuglicans
* Democrats moving a little bit to the left, in a principled way. E.g. no more of this absurd "yes, while I do agree the surge is a success" crap

It seems to be the general public revolting against the Palin smears, the Obama campaign, and the Democratic party in general.

No, that revolt is going on inside your head. We're talking about something happening outside your fevered imagination.

Actually, it's happening in the polls. But why argue? Are you happy with the direction of the Obama campaign since the Palin pick?
