Fair enough. But Obama's comment was timely and appropriately harsh as Palin opened the door for Obama's barb.
And the Republicans' predictable outrage is immediately contradicted by McCain's having uttered the very same phrase (presumably aimed at Senator Clinton) last October.
Why would a "hockey mom" identify herself with a pit bull? Do "hockey moms" attack vulnerable children without apparent cause? I don't think "soccer moms" would make the same comparison. And are "hockey moms" even tougher than "hockey dads"? What are they training their kids for? A big "PUCK YOU" is in order.
