An incompetant President and an intimidated Democratic congress (ooh nooooo, they might think we are weak on terror and oooh nooooo they might think we don't want to save America from finiancial collapse has worked out so well. At least for, as Bartcop would say, the "Bush Crime Family". Or as Naomi Klien would say, gee this reminds me of a book I wrote called "Shock Doctrine".
The looting of the treasury is breathtaking.
Not useless! They are doing their job, which is to pretend to be an opposition party. That's a critical function for any kleptocracy that wishes to masquerade as a democracy.
