Did they find the anthrax guy?

From this story, it looks like the have, and as the investigation was closing in on him he committed suicide earlier this week.

Throughout this entire mystery, one thing was clear, that analysis of the DNA of the anthrax, and its quality, was a clear indicator of the source - in this case, the government's biodefense labs at Fort Detrick, Maryland.

There were reports going back several years that indicated that the antrax was a domestic product, and in October 2006 it was reported that water used to process the anthrax spores came from a source in the northeastern United States.

Those attacks, in the wake of 9/11, amped up the fear factor that was gripping the nation and made it easier for Bush to sell the war against Saddam on the premise that WMD were circulating and he might initiate a bio-attack.

And as noted by others (Duncan Black & Glenn Greenwald) why is Richard Cohen OK with the Gov. officials who told him to buy Cipro after 911 and before Anthrax? Why is ABC news OK with the four highly placed independent Gov. officials that told them weeks after the ANthrax attack that the key marker in the Anthrax was Betonite - and only Iraq was known to use this in processing.

Why its enough to make one put their tin foil hat on. Got Cheney written all over it.

Golly, how convenient. Just like the madam that had notes on Diapers Vitter. Seems that it was all just Lone Gunmen. Yep. Like in the movies with studly Chuckie Norris or Arnold Schwarzengruber.

What a crock of shit! If the FBI told me the sky was blue I wouldn't believe it. This government is a criminal organisation and all senior officials from the president on down should be prosecuted under the "RICO" act. Hopefully the new A.G. will prosecute some of these pricks.
