He was a bigot and a hater. You referred to the University of North Carolina (UNC) as the Univeristy of Nig**** and Communists.
It is said that one shouldn't speak ill of the death but in this particular case, the world is a better place now that he has left it.
Interestingly: Huffington Post won't allow comments on their death notice story.
