Did I read that right?

Retired Army Maj. Gen. Anthony Taguba led the military’s investigation into the abuse at Abu Ghraib: [1]
"The commander in chief and those under him authorized a systematic regime of torture."
[2]
"... there is no longer any doubt as to whether the current administration has committed war crimes. The only question that remains to be answered is whether those who ordered the use of torture will be held to account."
[more here]

I wonder if David Broder will have anything to say about it.

It does not bode well for the future, if the obvious crimes of this administration are ignored.

I'm pretty sure Taguba will be given the same treatment Scotty McClellan got. Bush will never be held accountable for his actions.
