The latest Nevada poll is certainly interesting:

[Nevada Senator Harry] "Reid's favorable rating was 32 percent, compared with 51 percent unfavorable and 15 percent neutral. Gibbons was viewed favorably by 30 percent, Bush by 34 percent.

Bush has a higher approval rating than Reid in Reid's home state.

No surprise there. Nevada is overflowing with wingnuts. I've been there. All of rural Nevada is as red as neighboring Idaho and Utah, and the large cities are at least half-red, so there you are.

Your comparison is meaningless.
