CIA = KGB?

On the torture issue, Andrew Sullivan has an amazing document that shows the similarity.

What's interesting is that the first step in the process is the classification of the individual to a category that is outside the jurisdiction of national or international rules of conduct.

  1. I am fairly certain I heard somebody phone into Randi Rhodes Air America program a couple years ago stating that Alberto Gonzales taught cadets at the Air Force Academy how to survive enemy torture techniques. Ms. Rhodes grilled him a bit and he sounded like he was legit. Given Alberto’s bio the timing would have been could war 80’s, so the Soviet model would fit. Does this ring a bell with anyone? If debunked fine, if true another case of the administration being stranger than fiction.
