Is this smart?

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is running a radio spot in Heather Wilson's district, criticizing her for her role in the USA firing (specifically of David Iglesias).

What is the utility of doing this 21 months before the next election? True, there is a call for her to release telephone records, but that seems more like a job for the Congressional Ethics panel.

In any event, having a campaign organization get into this will delight Republicans. They can point to it and declare that "it's all politics", when it's more serious than that.

Not smart. Can't be giving them ammo, leave that stuff up to the 527's (Moveon, etc..)

Hey Quiddity...hope you're working on one of your famous flowcharts outlining the DOJ/USA issue and how the replacement of USAs (as well as those USAs playing ball with Rove and Co.) are affecting the prosecution of all the Republican scandals. Investigations that seem now to be stalled --(Delay/Marianas Isl USA, Duke Cunningham, Dusty Faggo & Wilks/ USA Lam, Abramov, Reed, Delay and Cornyn, The phone scam by the RNC in NH to block Dems GOTV efforts, and on and on)

Seems right up your alley!

Just in case you didn't see it :

A database of investigations and/or indictments of candidates and elected officials by U.S. attorneys since Bush came to power. Including investigations that happen just before elections (Menendez in N.J.) and then vanish into thin air after the election is over!

A chart? Please?!? Come on!
