Rather than a shocking dis-connect from the situation faced by the average African-American, Bush's comments reflect a not-so-shocking connection with the ill-gotten largesse he stands to gain when his own father passes away. This sociopathic stance is consistent with the selfish positions that have marked Bush's policies from the day he took office.
