news item:
US President George W. Bush (seated-C), joined by House and Senate leaders, signs The Tax Increase Prevention Reconciliation Act of 2005, extending his 2003 tax cuts on dividends and captial gains on the South Lawn of the White House in Washington, DC.(AFP/Paul J. Richards)
Tax Increase Prevention? That just sounds odd.
And mindful that
the benefits are almost exclusively for those in the very top of the income range, they play the "everyone benefits" game. Note the word "all" tacked on to the banner.
Which is a flat out lie.

Does every bill signing have to have the annoying flag draped banner in front of Chimpy
Who wver makes these banners (Im sure a Rethug) crony has gotta be making some serious loot..
I like how the star right by "all" makes it look like a weasel word used in sleazy misleading ads.
Which, hey.
When you add the word "reconciliation" to the end of it, the title doesn't become any clearer. Reconciliation can mean voluntary self-punishment or coming to terms with a committed wrong. Hrm.
How about "deficit expansion act"? Also maybe change "all" in the banner to "oil"?
