Vox populi:A Yahoo message board post: Put Saddam Back in Power and Leave
He keeps control of the country. He's a secular dictator and an enemy of Al Qaeda. He also is a counterbalance to Iran. Whadda ya think?

I generally believe that Iraq was attacked in part to provide a staging area for invading Iran.
I sometimes think that the proper strategy should have been to forgive Saddam Hussein, pay him to attack Iran, then stab him in the back and remove him once he gets the job done.
But first we must put Dubai in charge of US ports.
