We witness the rebirth of the old "Stab in the Back" trademarked by the Right Wing of Germany in 1918 in order to blame the loss of WW1 on the powerless Social Democrats.

I was predicting that the defeat in Iraq would be blamed on the war critics back in '04 before the election. It's amusing to watch history play out so predictably.

I was predicting that the defeat in Iraq would be blamed on the war critics back in '04 before the election.

But isn't it almost a sociological law that problems in times of war will be blamed on dissenters? I'm sure this pattern has repeated itself for thousands of years now.
