MSM? In an editorial cartoon (highlighted below), Tony Auth pokes fun at Senator-Doctor Bill Frist. Fair enough. But what's with the MSM reference? Okay, it's Mainstream Medicine and not Mainstream Media, but still ... Is this supposed to be a poke at the right-wing who use that acronym? It certainly seemed out of place.

Lets not give "MSM" to the right-wing. I use it. That and SCLM. Or even both together MSM/SCLM.
Whatever, you call the corporate media, a whore by any name is still despicable.
I immediately took it as a swipe at the Powerline, Malkinized, Insty folks.
Worse than Frist is Jebby's crude attempt to get political milage by AGAIN having Michael Schiavo investigated by the cops.
Jeb stinks, and Frist stinks too.

I thought liberals were supposed to oppose racist stereotypes? There must be some sort of exception when they are used against Republicans.

I think the cartoonist's point here is showing Frist as a witch doctor but that doesn't excuse the cartoonist from being thoughtless & insensitive - perhaps said cartoonist should have given this a bit more thought before submitting...
Geez, and I thot MSM meant Men having Sex with Men! No wonder those references to it seemed weird.

wow, a republican calling out someone for not being pc.
you're just offended that traits of a black stereotype were applied to a white man.
