Is this true? In two years. More than in the entire previous history of the Senate.
How come this wasn't widely reported in the last couple of weeks?

I seem to recall the Press widely reporting that the only Democrats to have won in the last 40 years were Southerners.
They never mentioned that no Republican had won from a Southern State, _ever_. (Andrew Johnson of Tennessee was never elected President).
Eisenhower may have been born in Texas, but he was raised in Kansas.
