Finding common ground:

The Washington Post has a story about the battle over evolution. Basically, it's the same old arguments and there doesn't seem to be any way to compromise. But we think we've found a solution that will please all sides. Here it is:
  • Teach students that all animals - including the hominid line up to Homo Erectus - came about through Darwinian evolution.

  • Teach that Homo Sapiens, though similar to Homo Erectus and who appeared at the time Erectus was dying out, was God's creation.

Everybody's happy, right?

That is hilarious. And quite an intelligent design, I must say.

Excellent IDea, Q.

My take:

In a nutshell, the theory of Intelligent Design Designers.

This, of course, is unacceptable as a solution because YOU HAVE NOT INCLUDED A CALENDAR!

It has been indisputably established that all those mollusks and amphibians and so on, up to an including That...that... that...imitation (because we know it's sinful to use the words "homo" and "erectus" were created in just 6 days.

This is pure science. Indisputable. Clearly established.

We know this because that invisible old guy with the long white beard told us so.

Still not enough!
We should revive and modify the old theory that apes (similar to man but of course totally unrelated) are the creation of the devil in order to "ape" gods creation of man. So let us suppose that the Dark One sneaked into the Lords office and took a look at the preliminary design studies. Then he executed the plan and when HE came back from rest HE stopped the deranged experiment at the homo erectus stage, put the real Man on the playing board and kicked Lucifer out of heaven (Unfortunately HE allowed him to keep his pet snake with the known results).

You left out the link from "Mollusc" to H. Retardopublican Bloggerus.

Admittedly, there are some differences in morphology, but the similarities in IQ are striking.

And this diagram proves conclusively that Rev. Dobson is a Homo, but SpongeBob is about as far from being a Homo as one can get.

Brilliant. If I wasn't so fond of my current Gir wallpaper, this would so be on my desktop.
