well done, then ...
no mention of "peace", to beautifully counterbalance the *one* mention of peace in the atrocious Inaugural address ...

brilliant - no need to waste my precious time now. If his speechwriters could get away with it, that's what they'd give him.
Sorry--not enough mentions of FREEDOM(tm), and especially not enough mentions of FREEDOM ON THE MARCH(tm).
I'll bet that by the time Bush is done speaking, the world's supply of freedom is seriously drawn down. It will take years to recover.
Also, note the "it's your money" argument. That would be the same argument used originally to promote the ruinous tax cut of 2001. (Of course, that argument then changed to "We need to head off a recession," and was immediately followed by "We have to stimulate growth" for the 2002 tax cut.) Same argument, same results: Economic catastrophe.

Freedom (TM) is the exclusive property of Giblets over at Fafblog. We do not want to upset Giblets.
Sounds like it'll be a good night to just hang out on the Web...
I swore fealty to Giblets long ago. Still waiting for the donuts...
And thanks, now I have time to watch the rest of those Monty Python reruns I found on cable!
Really, by Friday, I expect a comparison of sotu against this - word count one to one (if you strip away the filler adjectives in sotu) I project an 85% match.
These speeches don't matter, we all know that. No sense in spoiling my beautiful mind with such tripe. nudge, nudge, wink, wink, say no more.
