Progressive radio comes to Los Angeles:

After having nothing but right-wing radio (KFI, KABC, KRLA) for years, a new station has come to Los Angeles, KTLK, 1150 AM.   A Clear Channel station, no less. The line-up includes The Morning Sedition (5 a.m.-9 a.m.), Al Franken (9 a.m.-noon), Ed Schultz (noon-3 p.m.), Randi Rhodes (3 p.m.-7 p.m.) and Janeane Garofalo (7 p.m.-10 p.m.).

Hmmm. Sounds like some of the more stridently conservative sections of corporate America are beginning to wake up to the fact that there is a potential bonanza just waiting to be tapped, i.e., liberals would enjoy listening to some non-crypto-fascist talk radio. With that will come advertizing dollars, etc.

The beauty of capitalism is that money almost always trumps ideology.
