In the history of the world, George Walker Bush is the only Confederate State Republican elected President of the United States.
In the 140 year history of the Republican Party, George Walker B. is the only succesful Presidential candidate they've had from a Confederate State.
Ike may have been born in Texas, but he was raised in Kansas.
