Tough talk:

The President's radio address today hit Kerry pretty hard. Excerpts:
  • Senator Kerry takes a very different approach to our economy. He was named the most liberal member of the United States Senate, and that's a title he has earned.
  • Over the past 20 years, Senator Kerry has voted to raise taxes 98 times. He opposed all our tax relief, and voted instead to squeeze an extra $2,000 in taxes from the average middle class family.
  • In the middle of a war, Senator Kerry is proposing policies and doctrines that would weaken America and make the world more dangerous.
  • He's proposed the Kerry doctrine, which would paralyze America by subjecting our national security decisions to a global test.
  • He supports the International Criminal Court, where unaccountable foreign prosecutors could put American troops on trial in front of foreign judges.
  • If my opponent had his way, Saddam Hussein would be sitting in a palace today, not a prison, and Iraq would still be a danger to America.

man I hope Bush wins with this BS.

I'm white, 37, male, single, willing to move overseas for a long while, so his disastrous policies won't probably affect me.

Just to see him have to contend with the next 4 years of trainwrecks barreling at us. Such schadenfreude.

Or it would be if I weren't an american.

At any rate, the US of A indeed has a real gutcheck coming up. Wonder if we'll pass.

What is clear from the debate on Tuesday is that Bush has been reduced to parroting the most extreme Rove-inspired negative soundbites about Kerry. His campaign message is basically "Kerry is scary". He has moved from "Trust me, I'm right and I'm doing the hard work" to "Kerry is a liberal, tax raising, UN & France loving threat to America."

I think the Bushies are getting scared of losing. That means vicious negative campaigning and an October surprise of serious proportions. I think Kerry or a surrogate needs to get out in front of this and talk about the negative tactics, dirty tricks and threats of surprises from Karl Rove. Don't let that crook get the first word.

Too late for this American. Either way the election goes I'm afraid I'm already planning to emigrate.

Before the rush and while we're still allowed to...

Are Presidential Radio addresses supposed to be extensions of the debates written by the resident's handlers?

Seems shrill and desperate to me...
